Sabrina Verjee – Three Peak Challenge St. Lucia

British ultrarunner Sabrina Verjee has set a new record after running a three peak challenge in St. Lucia setting an FKT, the fastest known time set by a woman.

The record-breaking British ultra-runner from Ambleside, completed the three peak challenge by running up three of its highest iconic peaks, Petit Piton, Gros Piton and Mount Gimie in 5:16:00 on March 3.
The run was just four minutes off the time set by a Saint Lucian male runner.
Sabrina holds the overall record for the 325-mile circuit of the Wainwrights taking five days, 23 hours and 49 minutes.
